Lincoln's Legacy

What of Lincoln’s lineage, he and Mary had 4 children: Robert, Edward, Willie and Tad. Of the 4 only Robert survived to adulthood to produce grandchildren for Lincoln. Edward died first, before Lincoln was President, Willie died while Lincoln was President and Tad died a few years after Lincoln’s death. Robert had 3 children, 2 girls and a boy, the boy was named after Abraham but he died at 17 so that left the girls to continue Lincoln’s line. One married an Isham and the other Beckwith, they each produced a boy child a piece but the Isham’s son died early on, so that left Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith, the great-grandson of Abraham Lincoln. He died in 1986 in Washington D.C at his home at the age of 86 but without heirs thus Lincoln’s line ended abruptly with no direct descendants alive today.
